
After more than three years of discussing and testing their Isis mobile payments system, three of the top four US cellular operators have launched it nationwide. Too bad it’s not quite good enough for many consumers and enterprises.
I’ve been writing about Isis since 2010, when AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile USA, and Verizon Wireless announced the venture. There have been several delays, including pilots in Austin and Salt Lake City in 2012. The service should have been launched nationwide last year. Read more
